locks not showing up

Hi all,

I am not (yet) an expert, so please forgive me if i am lame.

I am experimenting with the locking feature, and have not found any way
to find out who owns a lock.
Am using TortoiseSVN 1.2.6, Build 4786 - 32 Bit Subversion 1.2.3, apr
0.9.6 apr-iconv 0.9.5 apr-utils 0.9.6 berkeley db 4.3.28 neon 0.24.7
OpenSSL 0.9.8a 11 Oct 2005 zlib 1.2.3.

If i create a lock, the icon overlay appears, and i can see the lock and
the owner (myself) in the properties window under the tortoise tab.
Other developers, or if i check out the project to a different working
copy, do not have the overlay lock icon, i understand why and can live
with that. If try to get a lock, get the message that it failed, as the
file is already locked, which is as expected. But when in this other
working copy, i open up the properties window, the area about the locks
is empty. I have not found any other way than the command line 'svn info
filename' to find out who the lock owner is.

Am i missing something? Or tortoise simply does not have a feature to
tell me the lock owner?

all the best,

vajk
