Create patch, include files not under version control

Hi

I want to create a patch to show some work to a colleague for him to
review, before I commit it to the repo (or chuck it away).

So, I did the changes.

I did TSVN -> create patch on the root of my source.

However, it errored out because one of the changes introduced a new
file, and that isn't version controlled yet (because I specifically
don't want to commit this until my colleague's had a look).

Am I doing something wrong, or not possible? I'm using TSVN 1.2.4,
Special Needs edition.

Regards
Pete
