Icon overlays not working on all mapped network drives

I have a similar problem, except that the icon overlays do not appear on
any mapped network drives since updating TortoiseSVN from 1.2.1.3895 to
1.2.6.4786. I am running svn version 1.2.3 on the Linux server along
with Samba 3.

Local sandboxes appear with the icons intact, it looks like tortoise is
not examining the network drives at all to render the icons, since there
is very little network activity visible on the hub when I open the samba
share to the mapped drive containing the sandbox. I set the tortoise
settings for icons on all drive types. The only thing that was changed
was the TortoiseSVN client.

Tortoise was originally upgraded (rebooting when prompted) on WinXP Pro.
Then when this did not work I uninstalled it, ran the registry cleanup
tool and checked through the registry for any stray entries. There are
plenty of slots left for overlay icons. Also, it works fine for local
drives. It's just mapped drives that don't get the icons.

Any advice would be appreciated.
