Diff on a Word document starts Word itself?

Hi,

I just wanted to perform a diff on two revisions of a MS-Word document
(.doc file) in one of my repositories. I triggered it from the SVN
context menu and to my surprise MS-Word itself was started (instead of
KDiff3, which I use for diffs). Although MS-Word started in its own diff
mode, I really wanted to see the binary difference between the two .doc
files. Does anybody know why this happened?

Greetz,

Leon Zandman
