Hi Sue,

You are actually on the wrong mailing list. This one concerns the
development process for TSVN, not general user questions - you want
the users list for that. But since I am here ...

This is not a commercial organisation. TSVN is written and maintained
by volunteers, so there are no maintenance contracts, no quarterly
release schedules, no guaranteed response times, etc.

At the moment almost all releases are aligned with releases to the
underlying Subversion library, unless there is a real showstopper bug
in TSVN itself. Bugfix releases tend to be every couple of months,
major releases might be 6 months or 2 years apart.

Everyone can get notified of upgrades if they wish as there is an
automatic check for updates once a week, and the notice appears in the
commit dialog. It's possible to disable that check, but it is there by
default.

If you want email notification of software releases then you need to
subscribe to the 'announce' mailing list. To join this list just send
an email to announce-subscribe_at_tortoisesvn.tigris.org and follow the
instructions in the returned mail.

New releases are also announced on our website http://tortoisesvn.net

Simon
