Reintegration failure without a proper error

I am trying to reintegrate a child project back into it's parent, but I am getting the error as described in the screenshot. The child is up to date merge wise and should not have any difficulty getting back onto it's parent.
It says there is an error but the description looks like everything should be okay.
Anyone suggest something that might cause this?
