Dear Sirs,
I decided this morning that I should try to contribute to this project. I'm a developer for a cancer treatment company, and use Tortoise on a day-to-day basis quite a bit. I install a new version every couple weeks, and that got me thinking about contributing. I registered on tigris.org and subscribed to all the e-mail lists (except translators) and checked out the trunk. Then I read build.txt. I see that compilation requireth VS 2010 which I don't have. I have 2008 pro. Does this knock me from the development circle? I don't have 2010 and don't want it (I've used it and don't like it). Are there any recommended options for those of us still in the stone age of early 2010? I will look forward to the opportunity to help!
