For me it has always helped by simply logging out and logging in again after doing the install when the WC:s stop working. Have not yet had to do a repair install or have "lost" any working copies.

Also, you need to be a little bit patient when accessing a WC for the first time with a new nightly. If I'm not totally misinformed I think that the SVN trunk builds will silently upgrade the format of your working copies for now. This will be removed in the final shipping version, but will stay like this during development.

I would also appreciate a heads up when a version step is going to happen. If you (Stefan) notices that the WC version will be updated when you point the TSVN trunk towards a new SVN trunk revision, would you mind dropping a mail on this list telling us about it?
