My pc is getting reinstaled so just comment for this time.

I played with this bit before it was implemented. All editors a checked behaived this way, this way it seems to be logic for me. Just one thing differs. You are wraping one white space before word while other editors tries place word start on new line start.
While beging line with whitespace give some hint about wrapping, it may be more confusing for caret position.

When you click on left of line to select line position which line should be selected? View or screen one? View line makes more sense to me but not much.
