TSVN tiny modal dialog with no buttons

Hi,

I keep getting a problem where within Visual Studio (any version) I
sometimes get a small TortoiseSVN modal dialog with no buttons or text,
which cannot be closed. As the dialog is modal to Visual Studio and has
no close function, the only way to get rid of it and access VS is to
kill VS from task manager and reload it. I have included a screenshot
below.

Is there any fix for this problem please?
