Make a build from SVN and Depoly on server

Hi to all , am a newbie want to :

1. Take a backup from my repository (manually initiated)
2. Make a tarball or something (i.e. make a release or build this step is not mandatory)
3. Deploy the same on my test server.

My repository is running fine i just want an automated process that can allow me deploy a release on my test server. BTW am using assembla for my repository server and tortoise SVN client on my machine

Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated
