+1 on this problem.
It has made blames in TSVN 1.5.x almost unusable for us since this
version always does a -g blame. (TSVN 1.6.1+ allows us to do a non-g
blame, avoiding the problem.)
Don't know if this helps, but I _might_ have found a Subversion bug
tracking this problem:
