RE: TSVN 1.5.5 on Windows XP with DFS Network Shares

We are having the same issues in our office. I'm currently running version 1.6.x of Tortoise on a Server 2003 computer (yes it's my desktop).

I've unchecked all the drive types (fixed network), set the cache to none, and added in all my network drives as "excludes" and added just my local dev folder to "includes" (c:\working\).

every time i open up my computer i get a slight delay and when i click on any of my network drives there is a consistent 30 second wait before anything shows up. On an older computer this actually causes explorer to stop responding but on my new machine it's just a delay.

once i'm connected to the share's root folder i can drill down without much of a delay but i'm consistently having a delay at the share root.
