Well I actually found the key in HKLM rather than HKCU as that page
says, but it's there under HKLM as:
http://www.visualsvn.com/visualsvn/download/tortoisesvn/version.txt

I don't like this and I would urge you to tell them to stop that
behaviour. I would rather always download TSVN directly from your
download server rather than a 3rd party. I hope he hasn't changed my
windows update URL to windowsupdate.visualsvn.com!
