Feature request: "Close project"

Hello,

I have an idea about a probably useful new feature.

Those who are familiar with Eclipse know that there is a possibility
to "Close Project". A closed project stops being compiled, error
checked etc.

In TortoiseSVN we have the TSVNCache, wich scans the working copies
and caches the data.
When you have many big working copies, the scanning starts taking more
time and caching is consuming more RAM.

We could have an option to temporarily "close" a working copy so
TSVNCache does not look there.
Probably a "magic" marker file could be put there, or the state could
be kept outside by TSVNCache.
The overlay icon of the main WC folder can become like a lock or
something, and the subfolders could have no extra overlay icon.

What do you think about it?

Cheers,
Andrzej
