I think Sven would like notifications on completion of client side
events. Could make sense as in the example of the lengthy completion of
an Update that you keep running in the background.

As Simon says, the TSVN client side hook system would be a great way to
start experimenting with this kind of support. Check the manual:

That way you could add the support and share it with other right away!

If you can't get it to work via the client side hooks, you could always
submit a patch. As long as it doesn't add any extra maintenance overhead
or possible stability issues I'd say you have a fair chance of getting
your patch accepted...
