checking po files in build script

Could you change the build script for the language packs so that an
"msgfmt --check-format" is done and the language pack is only built if
the check is successful?

I know you take good care of the translations already and there should
not be an invalid translation once we get to a release. But I receive a
lot of crash reports now because the ko.po file in Subversion (not TSVN)
is corrupt:

If possible, I'd like to avoid such problems in the future.
