How to see current branch of WC

Hi,

I'm missing some simple way, how to see, to which branch my WC is
currently committing.
"Show log" or "Properties" doesn't give me any information about that.
The only way I know, try a commit, see it's dialogue, and cancel it.

I'm thinking about something shown in the attachment. In the NetBeans
IDE the current branch (here milestone2) is simply annotated in the
project browser.

Regards,
Ulf
