One question: how many people are using more than one of Subversion,
Bazzar and Mercurial at the same time? I only use Subversion, and I
don't particularly want a bunch of special-case code added for systems
that I don't care about.

Why not simply branch the code for those other systems? It's GPL-ed =>
the other teams can do what they want with it, no?
