Missing columns in explorer details view on win2k

Hi!

TortoiseSVN 1.4.8 exhibits strange behaviour here on Windows 2000.
Folders that were initially not under revision control but are added
later on don't show the SVN columns in the details view of explorer.
The icons seem to be all right.

Here is what I did, and what happened

  1. Created folder containing some data
  2. Created empty subversion repository
  3. Checked out empty directory to existing folder
  4. Added some files and folders
  5. Comitted additions
  6. Rebooted
  7. Modified some files
  8. Updated whole working copy

This working copy and all its subdirectories show correct icons, but no
additional columns.

  9. Renamed folder containing working copy

Now the collumns are there all right.

10. Renamed folder back to original name

The columns are gone again. This looks like a caching issue.

11. Killed TSVNCache.exe
12. Tried other caching options in the settings dialog

No improvement

13. Renamed folder to a new name
14. Crteated a subfolder in working copy
15. Added this subfolder
16. Commited addition

Although the main working copy and the directories present before
contain the additional columns, the newly added directory doesn't.

This whole system is not my own, so running tests might be a bit more
difficult than I would wish for.

Greetings,
  Martin von Gagern
