Final push on the docs

Hi folks,

The 1.5 release is finally coming into view and it would be good to
include a set of docs which are as up-to-date and helpful as possible.
If anyone knows of anything which is not described yet, or which could
be improved, please let us know as soon as possible. Having complete
docs ready for RC1 will help to get more people testing so the final
release can be as good as we can make it :-)
