Checkout annoyances

Hi folks,

When I checkout a new project I usually create a folder ready to
checkout into, then in the checkout dialog navigate to the repo and
pick the path I want. In 1.5 the name of the folder I am checking out
gets appended to the folder I just created, even though they are the
same. One day I will get used to this and just run checkout directly
from the parent folder. But it would make sense to me that if the
checkout folder has the same name as the object being checked out,
don't create a subfolder with the same name again.

Also, at home I check things out to [My Documents]/projects/... in
order to keep them in a private area, since all the family use it. The
progress dialog always shows the full path, which in this case
contains something like
C:\Documents and Settings\Simon\My Documents\Projects\Project-A\MyFolder

The interesting part is some way out to the right and the progress
dialog is full of identical paths. It would be more interesting to
show paths relative to the checkout folder.

Simon
