Log cache recent enhancements

Hi folks,

Just taking a look at the log cache features in the latest nightly.
Very nice, but there are a few minor glitches.

The log dialog should indicate whether it is working in online or offline mode.

The log cache settings page displays a load of UUIDs in the URL table,
as well as the proper URLs. Maybe this is simply because the format
has changed and I have old cache files lying around?

The author count in the details view seems to be off by one. For
file:/// repositories, the author count should be 1 and it shows as 2.
For my work repository the author count should be 2 and it shows as 3.

Do we need to document what all those stats mean?

In case anyone should ask, where are the log cache files stored?
