Storing configuration options

Hi everyone,

how and where should I store configuration settings for the statistics
dialog. Right now I'm thinking of an integer value that encodes which
chart type was last viewed (see issue 409:
http://issues.tortoisesvn.net/index.php?do=details&task_id=409).

When the dialog is closed I would want to store this configuration option
and when the dialog is shown I would like to retrieve it. Does TSVN have a
centralized method to store/retrieve settings from the windows registry?
