I think you need to read the first section of the manual which
explains what version control is all about. TortoiseSVN, or rather
Subversion, maintains version history of files. It does not do
anything else to the files - how would it even know what to do?

The answer to your question is no. You have to open, modify, save,
build the files. When you have finished making changes, commit the
file. That's it.

You also need to be sure you have a handle on which are the source
files and which ones are generated automatically as part of the build
process. You only need to version the source files.
