ok, that bugged me too much 8-)

I uninstalled the nightly

        -> effect went away

reinstalled 1.4.3

        -> effect did not reappear

reinstalled 1.4.4

        -> effect did not reappear

reinstalled the current nightly (10237)

        -> and there it was again

I have no older nightlies that I can try, but I think it still work
with an earlier nightly (at least the first one I installed after
1.4.3, but please don't ask me what revision that was)

So it seems the effect is caused by TSVN or more likely the
combination of TSVN and XnView.

PS: I'm running WinXp-Pro SP2 (with all current updates) by the way.
