Why don't we know the number of revisions if we fetch a revision range from
8000 to HEAD? AFACIT it's a plain number range :)

It only happens if I enter e.g. 8000 in the top (from) and HEAD in the
bottom (to) box. The progress bar only flickers a bit in this case. If I
enter 8000-8400, 8400-8000 or HEAD-8000 the progress is shown. The problem
exists in an "upward" revision range that includes HEAD. Since it works
"downward" I assume that the revision number of HEAD is known.

OK, so no sorting by bug-id. Bug ID was just an example anyway. My concern
is that the current sort order is affected by selecting a range of
revisions. Show Log for TortoiseSVN. Select range from 8000-8400. The sort
order of the list is changed. I think this side effect should be avoided and
the current sort order should be kept.

Before I forget it. Thanks for fixing all the other stuff. I'll check the
nightly and report remaining issues in single mails :)

Cheers
- Lübbe
