I can't reproduce this. I've tried both using the log dialog and entered
the target revision manually. Both times the very same revisions were
used for the merge.
Are you sure you haven't changed the radio button to "HEAD" in the
target revision field after you entered it there?
If not, can you please provide a more detailed description on how I
might reproduce this?
