Repo-Browser hangs

Hello,

I am currently switching from CVS/TortoiseCVS to SVN/TortoiseSVN. I have
used CVS for a while now.
I have setup the SVN server on a gentoo box. I did not tweak anything
much than adding a few (4-5) users and provide a realm.

I can use the repo-browser (svn://myserver) and see its content.
I have tried playing around with import/update/commit/resolved/status...
with no problem thru TortoiseSVN and the svn command line on the server.

I noticed the repo-browser hangs when I remotely create new folders.
The first folder was created sucessfully. The others have been more
painful. Most of the tries, the repo-braowser just hangs forever.
I tried restarting the server, 'verifyin' the server and nothing bad is
reported on the server side. The repository has been configured using
FSFS.

Feel free to tell me if you want me to test anything in order to provide
more details.

Will
