Well, I think I just found a way to reproduce it!

1. Open the "Show Log" dialog
2. Minimize it
3. Bring it back by clicking the task bar
4. Try to move the top splitter

The top splitter doesn't move, and when you release the mouse button,
it quite literally goes through the roof :-)
