I would also find a "retry" button useful. I work from a home office and
sometimes forget to activate my VPN tunnel or change my DNS to the internal
server before updating/committing.
 When the update/commit fails, I immediately know the source of the problem
and correct it. Updates are easy to manually retry but commits that involve
a careful selection of a few modified files can be tedious to rebuild.
