You can optionally add the settings to the registry instead. That way
you can pass around a .reg-file that takes care of all the
auto-props-settings if that's more convenient to you.

Even better if you are on a windows domain; you can add the reg-keys as
a centralized domain login script. That way auto-props will "just work"
without any action from the user.
