I'm well aware of that, and that's exactly what I'm trying to stress here. There is no difference in SVN, but there is an (artificial) difference in TSVN. Different approaches, different needs, different solutions.

None that I'm aware of. And that's good. For the command line client. TSVN isn't (last time I checked) an alternative commanline client, but an Explorer extension GUI client.
 
Before wasting yet another couple of billion electrons, maybe we should simply agree to disagree in this case?
