Understood.

I frequently run with 1.4 nightly builds in an endeavor to help with
testing and so do not follow the 1.3.x releases.
Maybe there are a lot of shy folk out there who steer clear of RCs and
wait for and only ever use the new release. That approach is sort of
self defeating though because the time to turn around a problem in an RC
is much less that the time to get a production version changed.
