This has been fixed in
http://mapcar.org/tsvn-snapshots/latest/changelog.html#r6426 in /trunk.
Unfortunately it was not merged into the 1.3.x branch.

It is now merged into the 1.3.x branch in revision 6736 and available in the
next nightly build: http://mapcar.org/tsvn-snapshots/1.3.x/
