Dear Stefan,

I have some really large files, which I need to diff regularly.

Yesterday I wanted to review changes I did some month ago and wanted
to know, which "menu" was associated with the log message, which read
"added menu button for...". Unfortunately the commit had >50 changes
and the find command was of no real help, as it didn't offer an option
to limit the search to changes or the area surrounding changes. So I
had to resort to browsing through all changes, which was no fun.

I therefore request the following feature:

* Add an option to the search dialog of TortoiseMerge (<CTRL>+<f>),
which limits the search to changed lines (those which are colored), or

* Add an option to the search dialog of TortoiseMerge, which limits
the search to the vicinity of changes, defined as a configurable
number of lines before or after a changed line (preferred).

If you have a better definition of "surrounding", please speak up.

Thanks for your time,

Jens
