[ANN] TortoiseSVN for x64 release

Dear 64 bit enthusiasts,

I am happy to announce the (semi-official) release of TortoiseSVN
for the AMD64 / Intel EM64T platform.

Please note that, although I consider it stable, there will only be
limited support for this release. This will change only after the new
platform has become part of the standard build and release procedure
(possibly when 1.4.0 gets released).

You will find the installer, MD5 checksum and PDB files in

http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/servlets/ProjectDocumentList?folderID=6885&expandFolder=6885&folderID=616

There are two builds available, a "stable" 1.3.3 and a "draft" snapshot
of 1.4.0. You should prefer TSVN 1.3.3. Since the 1.4.0 will upgrade
your working copies to a new format, they will no longer be accessible
to current and older versions.

It is possible to install, use, upgrade and de-install 32 bit versions
alongside with 64 bit releases. Both should be completely isolated:
Each one will use its own TSVNCache instance, for example.

Limitations:

* no functional limitations are known
* local BDB repositories cannot / should not be shared between
  32 and 64 bit (BDB files are platform specific)
* no language packages (localized dictionaries should work, though)

Things still to do:

* language package builds
* do we need cross-compiling?
  (complicated due to platform specific SubWCRev)
* nightly build setup
  (cannot use my machine for that)
* submit the remaining patches (4 files) to the respective projects

Have fun!
Stefan.

P.S.: My recent dealings with Mom's friendly Software Company
had nothing to do with TSVN.
