The first thread is for the cache keeping a file open.
The second thread is about a crash in the cache.
Those are two completely different issues.

No need. I've explained that already several times: I won't do anything
to fix these issues. I will rewrite the whole "show differences"
features with the new API in Subversion 1.4 instead.

And since I've mentioned this several times before, I didn't respond to
that mail anymore. I figured that other people on this list might
remember my answers before and step up answering.
