I think what you're seeing is the automatic check for updates which
happens every seven days. You can disable that check if you really want
- but I wouldn't advice that. After all, it will tell you when a new and
better version of TSVN is available.

And if you're concerned: TSVN is open source, so you can check yourself
that TSVN isn't spyware or something even worse.
