And what do you do if you can select an earlier revision? It won't show
more log messages than the ones already shown!
That date-range selection is a *filter* of what's already fetched/shown.
It's not used to *load* the messages. So selecting an earlier date than
the one marked as the "from" date doesn't make any sense and is
therefore disabled.
