svn.simple:
creds for basic authentication (username/password)
svn.ssl.server:
ssl server certificates
svn.username:
creds for username only authentication (where no password is needed).

Yes it does. It also removes the cache from the registry (remember:
TSVN once stored the auth encrypted in the registry, before Subversion
implemented it itself).
