Rigt now I'm unfortunaly not having access to an AD enabled server, so I
can not help with testing myself.
But what I used in the past for debuging and checking of HTTP
communication in proxy enabled apps was always something real simple, a
small proxy named TGpHTTPProxy from Primoz Gabrijelcic, just google for
"Primoz Gabrijelcic's Delphi Pages" and you'll find his page, he offers
a "test program" which is easy to use.

Start the app, enter the destination address (as shown in the attached
jpg), enter localhost as proxy and as port 1080 and try adding files.
You'll see all comunication going forward and backward.
