A transform is indeed the way to go if you want to create a customized
version of an MSI installer. But for TSVN there's a better way I think.
TSVN's MSI installer is made using WiX (http://wix.sourceforge.net) and
the WiX source code is available in the TSVN source code download. It is
much easier to change the WiX code to your needs and build a custom MSI
than creating a transform from scratch.
