I tried it with the network share on my desktop (XP SP2) and TSVN on my
working Laptop (XP SP2 too).

I don't know an application with that name. Can you please use
Process-Explorer from sysinternals
(http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/ProcessExplorer.html). If it
hangs, find the "Drag" application, right-click on it and check out the
additional information Process-Explorer gives you (manufacturer, app
version, open threads, handles, ...), and also check for open handles in
TSVNCache.exe.
