The attempt to send the zipped repo was bounced by gmane.

This bit of news might make you feel better.
Immediately prior to sending a copy of the faulty repo I updated some
files with rev 4834 and then checked the trunk revision graph.
Bingo, it works again and the original fault I snagged has been fixed as
you stated earlier.

I kept a separate un-updated copy of the faulty repo in case you still
want it and we can beat gmane's block.
So it's up to you whether you bother chasing something thats just gone
away or not. Your choice.
I will continue doing my best to provide feedback to help you make the
end result a really great tool.
I'm not sweating on when things get attended to.
