Problem with translation status

From: Jan Normann Nielsen <lists_at_dubbekarl.dk>

Hi

I just checked the translation status

http://tortoisesvn.sourceforge.net/?q=translation_status

which has been generated

Mon Oct 24 08:23:01 CEST 2005

which is after my last commit. But the status shows that the Danish
translation is 0.7% untranslated? That is strange because poEdit shows
that all strings are translated, and updating with Tortoise.pot gives no
new or obsolete strings.

What is the problem?

msgmerge, which poEdit uses, doesn't like \r characters in translated
messages. It warns with "internationalized messages should not contain
the '\r' escape sequence". Does the untranslated problem above have
anything to do with that?

Should I not translate like this and use \r?

msgid "copied from\r\n%s - revision %ld"
msgstr "kopieret fra\r\n%s - revision %ld"

Best wishes,
Jan
