Appart from Simon and Thomas replies (which I agree to), you should
try RapidSVN. <http://rapidsvn.tigris.org/> It is GUI frontend in the
way SourceSafe is, so don't install TSVN but RapidSVN, open that GUI
and work from that. Close it and forget about SVN.

I don't use it, though. TSVN is so good so I have never had a need for
it, and having 2 TSVN entries is not so bad: I'd bet you already have
Winzip or WinRAR or say-it-here installed, and they put their commands
in the popups - even if you don't use 100% of your time making zip
files.
