As you already noticed, there wasn't any further comment. That means
for me that this is a feature which isn't really necessary. Otherwise
people would have jumped up immediately.

Both suggestions made in those three posts are not really good ideas:
- yet another checkbox? Aren't thre already enough checkboxes in that
dialog? If we would add yet another checkbox for every little tweak
people may want for their special need, we'd end up with 1/3 of the
dialog showing files and 2/3 of the dialog cluttered with checkboxes
and options.
- Adding an '/' in front of the paths looks *really* ugly - try it
yourself if you don't believe me.
