You are looking at the right pane, not the left of course ... ? And
using the 1.2.2 release?

Overlays are generated only from the WC, not the repository, but I know
what you mean. Do you have a small WC that shows this problem? If so can
you zip it up and send it for analysis?
If it happens deep down inside a large WC, try copying just the parent
folder to your TEMP folder to make an independent smaller WC. Each
sub-folder of a WC is an independent WC in its own right.
