[TSVN][PATCH]Integer types usage

Hi,

this is the last wave of the flood *g*.

I made the changes in this patch mainly to get rid
of various type conversion warnings. Some of these
are no-brainers, others might affect the logic.

So, please feel free to commit them selectively.
